The Asia Pacific and Japan HP Digital Print Excellence Awards was founded by HP Graphics Solutions Business, to recognise outstanding achievements and innovations in the printing industries across Asia Pacific and Japan.

Highly qualified leaders from the graphics arts industry judge the entries based on: overall aesthetics, impact/marketing effectiveness, shelf appeal, fit for purpose – design suitability, uniqueness & innovation and best use of media or substrate.

The Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards: ‘PICA’ Awards set the  the benchmark for excellence in print in Australia, with the achievement of a Gold Medal a confirmation of achievement to the highest national – and, international – standards, and the ultimate accolade the industry can bestow. A panel of international judges award the best the industry has to offer.

The National Printing Craftsmanship Awards (NPA) staged each year by the Printing Industries Association of Australia, are synonymous with print excellence, with many winners going on to dominate and win International Awards.  Each year the Awards are themed and entry is gained for Gold Medal winning entries from each state PICA Awards.

The FPLMA Awards (Flexible Packaging & Label Manufacturers Association) represent a centre of excellence for the packaging industry. They show what can be achieved by dedicated and passionate people that take pride in the work they do, striving to achieve the highest quality print using a wide range of technology.

The LATMA Awards staged by the Label and Tag Manufacturers Association on Australia, represent a centre of excellence for the packaging industry. They show what can be achieved by dedicated and passionate people that take pride in the work they do, striving to achieve the highest quality print using a wide range of technology.

The annual Asian Print Awards recognise outstanding achievement in the print and packaging industries across Asia. With more than half the world’s population represented in this fast growing area, communication in the form of printed matter links Asia’s diverse cultures. It is imperative that such print achievements do not go unrecognised.

The Asian Packaging Excellence Awards recognise and honor Asia’s best print and packaging industries across Asia. An independent jury of highly qualified industry experts within Asia and around the world examine each submission within pre-established criteria and on the basis of quality and execution.

The World Label Awards is a global competition including: USA (TLMI), Japan (JFLP), Europe (FINAT), Australia (FPLMA), New Zealand (SALMA) China (PEIAC) and India (LMAI). In order for companies to compete and to win an award, their entry has to win a prize in their own local label awards competition first. Each Association (Chairman of the jury) then selects entries for the WLA from their nominated or winning entries, which are judged and possibly rewarded with the World Label Association Award.
