Product packaging or cartons are usually made from flexible, or what is referred to as “soft” carton board:
- Carton Board can be printed on one or both sides
- Finishes like lamination or varnish can also be applied to both sides.
- Adding finishes makes carton packaging more rigid and can have an impact on the design or folding components.
- Some applications use multilayer material with up to 3 or more layers.
