Ted & Mem’s are a popular hand-made granola and muesli brand. They came to the QLM Marketing Team with a specific request: “We want tester packs to get our product tasted by more potential customers.” The branding needed to align with existing full-sized product designs but the smaller ‘sample’ formats needed to be EXTRA: eye-catching and functional!

The QLM team designed a range of “tester packs” that preserved the brand’s familiar style while introducing new elements to make them stand out more to customers who may not be familiar with the brand. The bold “TRY ME” bubble was key to this, serving as a call to action, prompting curiosity and engagement.

Vibrant packages that preserved Ted & Mem’s premium image while offering a practical solution for sampling. By blending creativity with precision, QLM enabled the brand to expand its reach and attract new customers with confidence.

Coya is a renowned modern Australian restaurant with a Middle Eastern twist, helmed by the multi-award-winning Chef Ashraf Saleh. Known for his 2 Hat recognition by the Australian Good Food Guide, Chef Saleh wanted to bring his culinary expertise to retail packs that people could cook at home, with a line of artisanal spice blends. 

QLM’s Marketing Team designed stand-up pouches featuring intricate patterns and vibrant colours inspired by Chef Saleh’s Middle Eastern heritage and paying homage to Islamic art. A distinctive 8-petal transparent window, shaped in a traditional Middle Eastern floral structure, allows consumers to clearly see the vibrant and different colours of the spices inside. This unique feature showcases the products’ premium quality while connecting to the chef’s cultural roots. Chef Saleh’s image on the packaging added a personal, trustworthy touch, connecting buyers directly to the product’s origin.

These vibrant stand-up pouches not only showcase the visual appeal of the spices but Flexible Stand-Up Pouches with resealable zippers keep them fresh and ready for use. By combining cultural authenticity with modern appeal, QLM created packaging that captures Coya’s unique essence and helps them reach a new and broader market for sales.

Rush Nutritional Mix, a brand of Graina – Bulk Food Store, approached QLM’s Marketing Team to launch a new line of smoothie and shake mixes. Formulated by nutritionists, the products aim to deliver health benefits including improved digestion, immunity support and natural energy boosts. Rush needed a fresh brand identity and packaging that communicated these benefits while standing out in the crowded health food market.

The logo and colour-blocking design were central to the aesthetic for the overall look of the stand-up pouches and sachets. It needed to reflect the brand’s core values of health and natural ingredients while allowing space for other bold and health-inspired colours to differentiate products in the range. Metallic effects were added to highlight product benefits and allow key details to “pop out” and catch consumer attention.

From branding to printing, the final designs captured the essence of Rush Nutritional Mix’s key product benefits to appeal to health-conscious consumers. As health food companies embrace the combination of tradition with bold designs and vibrant colours, QLM delivered a solution that brought the brand to life and positioned Rush as a health food product that deserves attention.
